Introduction

Welcome to the official Ludo Origin game documentation. This guide provides comprehensive information about game rules, modes, and strategies to help you master the game and compete in tournaments.

Note: Ludo Origin features unique gameplay mechanics that differ from traditional Ludo games. Please read this documentation carefully.

Game Modes

Standard Mode

Standard Mode follows traditional Ludo rules with some enhancements:

  • Players must roll a 6 to bring tokens into play
  • Rolling a 6 grants an extra turn
  • Landing on an opponent's token sends it back to start
  • First player to get all four tokens home wins
  • Safe squares protect tokens from being captured

Custom Mode

Our signature mode with unique rules:

  • All tokens unlocked: No need to roll a 6 to start
  • 10-minute time limit: When time expires, highest score wins
  • Point system:
    • +1 point per square moved
    • +56 bonus points for reaching home
  • Capturing: When a token is captured, it loses all accumulated points
  • No extra turn: Rolling a 6 does not grant an extra turn

Practice Mode (vs AI)

Practice against our AI opponent:

  • Entry fee: ₦1 per game
  • Choose between Standard or Custom rules
  • Three AI difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard
  • Great way to learn strategies without risking large amounts

Tournament System

Tournaments are competitive events where players compete for prize pools:

Advanced Strategies

Standard Mode Strategy

  1. Early Game: Focus on getting tokens out quickly
  2. Mid Game: Balance between advancing tokens and capturing opponents
  3. Late Game: Protect tokens near home and block opponents when possible

Custom Mode Strategy

  1. Point Maximization: Move tokens efficiently to maximize points
  2. Time Management: Keep track of the 10-minute limit
  3. Defensive Play: Protect high-scoring tokens from captures
  4. Home Stretch: Prioritize getting tokens home for the +56 bonus points

How do I withdraw my winnings?

You can withdraw your winnings through the Wallet section. We support various payment methods including bank transfers and mobile money. Withdrawals are processed within 24-48 hours.

What happens if I lose connection during a game?

If you lose connection, the game will attempt to reconnect automatically. You have up to 3 minutes to rejoin before your turn is skipped. After 3 skipped turns, you will be removed from the game.

Is Ludo Origin fair and random?

Yes, we use a certified random number generator for dice rolls. Our system is regularly audited to ensure fairness and compliance with gaming regulations.

Can I play with friends?

Yes, you can create private rooms and invite friends to play. Private rooms can be configured with custom entry fees and rules.
